Human Anatomy Atlas

We find it helpful to keep a book of medical illustrations in the office for quick reference.  The book we use most often is the Atlas of Human Anatomy by Frank H. Netter, M.D.  You can purchase the book at most medical school libraries or online.

Frank Netter's book is an excellent book for genral anatomy but it is known in medical circles to have many errors. One of the most glaring is in its depiction of the facial nerve anatomy. (The anatomy it shows is the least common of all the orientations that the nerve may have.)

For what it's worth.
